Mesh Hair Integration
Mesh Hair Integration gives women with thinning hair back the volume they remember, by blending matched human hair with their own through a fine, breathable mesh.
When your hair has become thin all over, styling it can feel like a daily reminder of what has changed. Mesh Hair Integration adds fullness by working with your own hair rather than covering it, so the result moves, grows out and feels like it is yours.
Who Mesh Hair Integration suits
- Women with thinning across the top or all over who still have some hair of their own
- Women noticing thinning during or after the menopause
- Women with a widening parting or see-through areas
- Women whose hair is growing back after chemotherapy and who want fullness while it recovers
Because your own hair is what holds the mesh in place, it is less suited to areas with no hair at all. For bald patches or alopecia, a Bespoke Skin Hair Topper is usually the better choice.
How it works
- Hair Loss Consultation. We look at your hair and scalp and check that mesh integration is right for you.
- Matched to you. We choose human hair that matches your colour, texture and density.
- Fitting. A fine, breathable mesh sits close to your scalp and your own hair is gently drawn through it, which holds it securely without glue or clips.
- Cut and blend. We cut and style the new hair into your own so there is no visible join.
- Maintenance. You return for regular appointments so we can adjust the fit as your own hair grows.
Mesh integration or a hair topper?
| Mesh Hair Integration | Bespoke Skin Hair Topper | |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | All-over thinning | Bald patches, alopecia, thin crown or parting |
| Needs your own hair? | Yes, to anchor the mesh | No, it can cover areas with little or no hair |
| How it is held | Your own hair is drawn through the mesh | Applied with adhesive |
| Result | Extra volume blended at the root | A natural-looking scalp at the parting |
Not sure which suits you? That is exactly what your consultation is for.
Living with it
- Breathable. The open mesh lets air reach your scalp.
- Washable. Wash it at home with the right products.
- Styled your way. Blow dry, straighten and curl with heat protection, keeping tools at 180°C or below.
- Active days. It stays secure through exercise and a normal routine.
- Discreet. It grows out with your hair and blends at the root.

Aftercare
The right aftercare keeps your mesh comfortable and your hair looking fresh:
- Use salon-approved, sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner
- Wash in cool to lukewarm water with gentle, downward strokes
- Condition the ends only and keep conditioner and masks away from the roots and mesh, because an oily mesh becomes a slippery mesh
- Avoid purple shampoo, which can dry the hair out
- Finish with heat protection and a light oil on the lengths
- Avoid swimming underwater, as chlorine and sea water can damage the hair's texture and colour
Maintenance
As your own hair grows, the mesh needs adjusting to keep it close to your scalp. We will recommend how often to come back at your consultation, and each appointment keeps your integration comfortable, secure and looking its best.
