The Vintage Avenue Skin Clinic is led by Natasha Collins, an advanced skin specialist with over twenty years of experience in aesthetic treatments. She teaches in colleges nationwide, has trained therapists for The Eyelash Emporium, and runs her own training academy. Her treatment rooms on Biggleswade High Street are where she sees the clients she looks after personally.

Our skin clinic sits alongside our hair salon and beauty salon at 17C High Street, but operates as a distinct clinic for clients seeking results focused, visibly effective skin treatments. Every appointment starts with an honest consultation, a proper skin assessment, and a plan that is realistic for your skin, your budget, and the timeline you want to work to. We will tell you what a treatment can achieve, what it cannot, and what you should expect at each stage.

Microneedling

Microneedling uses a precise, controlled micro-injury process to stimulate your skin's natural collagen and elastin production, improving texture, fine lines, acne scarring, and loss of firmness over a course of sessions. At The Vintage Avenue, microneedling is delivered by Natasha Collins using a professional grade device, with numbing applied where appropriate, and is often combined with radiofrequency for firmer, more defined results. Your consultation will cover your skin concerns, contraindications, realistic results, expected downtime, and the number of sessions that will give you the outcome you want.

Silhouette Dermalift

Silhouette Dermalift is a microcurrent lifting system that tones the facial muscles and stimulates circulation without needles or downtime. We offer five targeted treatments: Neck Firming, Eye Lid Reduction, Eye Bag Reduction, Cheek Lift, and Jowl Lift, each a one hour session. Results build over a course of sessions and are maintained with periodic top ups. Ideal if you want visible firmness and definition without injectables, and want to feel that a treatment has genuinely worked rather than simply relaxed you.

IPL

Intense Pulsed Light is a versatile clinical technology with two distinct uses: long term hair reduction across face and body, and photorejuvenation work on pigmentation, redness, and sun damage. Every IPL course starts with a suitability consultation to assess your skin tone, hair type, medical history, and realistic expectations. We will be honest about whether IPL is the right choice for your skin type and concern, and what you can expect across the course.

Facial treatments

Our clinical facial menu runs from the Anesi Luminosity and Aqua Vital facials for dullness and dehydration, through to the Anesi Dermo Peel for resurfacing and the RF Facial for firming. Each facial is tailored on the day to what your skin actually needs, not just what you booked. If your skin has shifted since your last appointment, hormonally, seasonally, or otherwise, we will adapt the treatment accordingly. Every facial starts with a short skin consultation so the therapist can make the right call for you.

Meet Natasha Collins, lead skin specialist

Natasha is the founder of The Vintage Avenue and the clinician behind our skin clinic. With more than two decades in the industry, her focus is on advanced facial techniques and aesthetic treatments that deliver visible results rather than short lived effects. She has taught skin and aesthetic technique in colleges nationwide, trained professionals for The Eyelash Emporium, and runs her own training academy alongside her clinical work.

Clients who come to the skin clinic see Natasha personally. Consultations are honest, sometimes bluntly so. If a treatment is not right for your skin or your goal, she will tell you, and recommend the approach that is. That is the difference between a clinic and a salon, and it is why we position our skin work separately from our wider beauty offering.

I was really impressed with the analysis process — Natasha is incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and genuinely attentive to our needs and goals. I'm looking forward to continuing the journey and seeing the results unfold.

This salon was the most friendliest I ever had the pleasure to walk into. I had a facial and it was wonderful, they took time to assess my skin and talk to me about options. I would certainly recommend this salon.

Why clients travel to The Vintage Avenue Skin Clinic

We draw skin clients from across Bedfordshire and the surrounding counties, including Sandy, Stotfold, Arlesey, Letchworth, Hitchin, Baldock, Bedford, St Neots, and parts of North Hertfordshire and South Cambridgeshire. Clients who travel tend to be looking for the same thing: a named clinician with real training, honest consultations, and treatments that are chosen for them rather than sold to them.

Our 5-star Good Salon Guide rating covers the whole business, but in the skin clinic specifically, it reflects technical standards, hygiene, ongoing training, and client experience. It is an independent mark, not a self-awarded badge, and we are proud to hold it. If you have been let down by a previous clinic, or have tried home-use devices that have not delivered, the first step is a proper consultation so we can look at where you actually are and where you want to get to.

Looking for expert hairdressing?

If you are looking for expert cutting, colouring, blonde work, curly hair specialists, keratin smoothing, hair extensions, or bridal styling, our hair salon sits alongside the skin clinic at 17C High Street on Biggleswade High Street. Twenty years of reputation, a 5-star Good Salon Guide rating, and the same standard of consultation and care you would expect from the skin clinic side of the business.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a consultation before my first skin clinic appointment?
Yes, and it is free. Advanced skin treatments are not one-size-fits-all. A consultation lets us look at your skin, understand what you want to improve, review any medications or medical history, and recommend the right treatment or course. You are under no obligation to book a treatment afterwards, and we would rather you left with clarity than with an appointment that is not right for you.
How is the skin clinic different from the beauty salon?
Our beauty salon covers treatments like manicures, pedicures, brows, lashes, waxing, massage, and makeup. The skin clinic is a separate side of the business that focuses on advanced, results-led skin treatments delivered primarily by Natasha Collins, our lead skin specialist. Both sit at the same address, but the approach, the depth of consultation, and the treatment menu are different.
How many sessions will I need to see a real change?
It depends on the treatment and the concern. Silhouette Dermalift results build over a course of six to eight sessions, with maintenance every four to six weeks. Microneedling usually needs a course of three to six sessions spaced four to six weeks apart. IPL hair reduction typically needs six to eight sessions. Facial treatments can give a noticeable lift after one, but long term skin change comes from a regular rhythm. We will build you a realistic plan at consultation.
Is there any downtime after a skin treatment?
It depends on the treatment. RF facials, Silhouette Dermalift, and most IPL sessions have minimal downtime, with at most mild redness that settles the same day. The Anesi Dermo Peel and microneedling have more noticeable recovery, typically a few days of redness, tightness, and flaking for microneedling, and a shorter recovery for the peel. We will walk you through the exact downtime for your treatment before you book so you can plan around work and events.
Are your skin treatments suitable during pregnancy?
Several are not. Microneedling, RF, and IPL are not recommended during pregnancy. Some facials and Silhouette Dermalift treatments may be unsuitable too, depending on the stage of pregnancy and your skin. Always tell us before booking so we can recommend something safe, or advise waiting until after you have stopped breastfeeding.
Can I combine skin treatments with Botox or dermal fillers I have had elsewhere?
Often yes, but timing matters. We will ask about recent injectable work at consultation and plan around it. Some treatments, such as microneedling and RF, should be spaced carefully around injectables. Others can work well alongside them. Always disclose recent work and any planned appointments so we can sequence things properly.
Where are you based and is there parking nearby?
We are at 17C High Street, Biggleswade, SG18 0JE, on the High Street itself. There is pay and display parking on the High Street and the main town car parks are a short walk away. Clients regularly travel from Sandy, Stotfold, Arlesey, Letchworth, Hitchin, Baldock, Bedford, and St Neots. If you are coming from further afield, tell us when you book and we will do our best to group your appointments to save you a second trip.
How much do beauty treatments cost at The Vintage Avenue?
Pricing varies by treatment, by therapist, and by the length of the appointment. For current pricing across our full beauty menu, visit our pricing page or call us on 01767 210210 and we will talk you through the options before you book.
