Cancellation Policy

At The Vintage Avenue, appointment times are reserved especially for you and your chosen services. The following policy is in place to be fair to our clients, our team, and our small business.

Notice period

We kindly ask for a minimum of 48 hours' notice for any cancellations, rescheduling, or changes to booked services. This includes removing services from an appointment, as the time has been specifically allocated for your visit.

Late changes

Any changes made within 48 hours of the appointment time will incur a charge of 50% of the scheduled service cost.

Missed appointments

If you do not arrive for your appointment and we have not heard from you, this will be treated as a no-show and the full cost of the booked services will be charged.

Late arrivals

If you arrive late, we will do our best to accommodate you. However, to avoid running into another client's appointment, we may need to shorten or adjust your service. The full cost of the original booking will still apply.

Deposits

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking for all appointments and treatment bundles. Long-standing clients are exempt from this requirement. Deposits are deducted from the final cost of your service. If you cancel or reschedule within the 48 hour notice period, your deposit will be retained.

Patch tests and consultations

Some services require a patch test or consultation before your first appointment. This includes colour services, brow and lash treatments, and most skin clinic treatments. Patch tests must be carried out at least 48 hours before your appointment. If you have not had the required patch test or consultation, we may not be able to proceed with your service, and the cancellation terms above will apply.

Courses and treatment packages

Skin clinic and beauty treatment courses are non-refundable once purchased. Sessions must be used within 12 months of the date of purchase. The 48 hour notice period applies to individual appointments within a course. Missed sessions or late cancellations will be deducted from your remaining sessions.

Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash. They are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and must be presented at your appointment.

Illness and exceptional circumstances

We understand that life can sometimes get in the way. If you are unwell or facing exceptional circumstances, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. Each situation will be considered on its own merits.
