Microcurrent facial and faradic body toning at The Vintage Avenue

We have something special arriving soon at the salon. Dermalift Intense + Body is a non-surgical face and body system that brings together a microcurrent facial for lift and definition with faradic (EMS) body toning for tummy, thighs, and arms. No needles, no downtime, just thoughtful, targeted work with muscles and skin right here in Biggleswade.
A quick note from our training day
During a recent hands-on session we practised a short jawline lift on a team member in her fifties. Halfway through she said, “It feels like my skin’s being reminded where to sit.” Twenty minutes later, the lower face looked tidier, especially at the corners of the mouth. Subtle, neat, and natural — the kind of finish we aim for in the salon.
(Training helps us shape real-life protocols. Full results come from a course, set at consultation.)
What the technology does
- Microcurrent facial (face): gently stimulates facial muscles and supports hydration and elasticity for a more defined brow, cheek, and jaw.
- Faradic / EMS programmes (body): electrical muscle stimulation to help re-tone areas such as the abdomen, upper arms, and thighs, with inch-loss support.
- ADLA lymphatic drainage (face): a light step to reduce puffiness around the eyes and jaw before lifting.
- Dermafusion (face): mask-based infusion with skin-specific actives for brightness, firmness, or hydration.
- Optional Polynucleotides: DNA-based skin boosters to support repair signals, elasticity, and long-term skin quality.
Who tends to book first
Clients who say:
- “I want a non-surgical facelift style result without injectables.”
- “My jawline looks softer on camera.”
- “My eyes look puffy by mid-afternoon.”
- “I’m working on my waist and upper arms and want a salon plan to match.”
If that sounds like you, Dermalift Intense + Body is likely a good fit.
What to expect (once it arrives)
- Comfort: gentle, pulsing sensations; most people relax through it.
- Time: face sessions usually 45 to 60 minutes, a single body area 45 to 75 minutes.
- Plan: most clients see best results with a course of 6 to 8 sessions, 1 to 2 weeks apart, then maintenance.
- Aftercare: hydrate, use SPF in the day, and keep the routine simple for 24 hours.
- Suitability: a consultation checks medical history. Not suitable during pregnancy, with a pacemaker, active skin infection, or very recent injectables in the area.

FAQs
How many Dermalift sessions do I need?
Most people book 6 to 8 sessions for noticeable lift and tone, then maintenance every 8 to 12 weeks.
How long do microcurrent results last?
With a course and good skincare, results generally hold 6 to 12 months, supported by maintenance visits.
Is microcurrent safe for mature skin?
Yes. Settings are personalised, and it’s a comfortable choice for skin over 40. We confirm suitability at consultation.
Does faradic body toning help inch loss?
It supports inch-loss by stimulating the muscles while you relax. We’ll discuss realistic goals for tummy, thighs, or arms.
Microcurrent vs radio frequency — what’s the difference?
Microcurrent works on muscle stimulation with very low electrical signals. Radio frequency uses heat to target the dermis. Dermalift is a non-heat, non-needle option.
Can I have Dermalift if I’ve had fillers or toxin?
Often yes, but timing matters. We’ll review the area and dates of previous treatments during your consultation.
